Sorry it took us so long to aswer this. Well I guess I would start with reading some articles on wikipedia, maybe something brief about the history of Slovakia (or Czechoslovakia), then maybe watch some youtube videos and thats very much it. Why dont you tell her to teach you stuff about Slovakia? And by the way, trying to learn slovak language is actually not as impressive or romantic as guys tend to think :)
